How these numbers are measured
Snapshot Sun, 01 Nov 2026 16:29:30 GMT. Audience refreshes every 15s; updated Sun, 01 Nov 2026 16:29:30 GMT. Bots never count. Browser counts estimate visitors, not verified people; foreground time is client-reported, not purchases or certified ad views.
"Browsers" counts every browser that loaded a page, including one that left immediately. A visit is only credited time once it has been seen twice, ten seconds apart, so "browsers that stayed past 10s" is the same count with the instant bounces taken out. It is shown for the last 24 hours only: the daily history was recorded before the two were counted apart, and a rollup is never rewritten to invent a number it never held.
Windows are UTC days. A week and an all-time column add up daily figures, so a browser that comes back on three days counts three times; only the 24h column is a single continuous window. Peaks are the highest concurrent human count actually sampled, once a minute.
Per-minute detail is kept for 48 hours and per-sponsor detail for 35 days; the daily totals above are kept for the operating life of the site. Nothing in them identifies a person. Privacy.

- Every completed payment adds to your business's total. All purchases are charged, including those below #1.
- The highest total owns the sponsor crown. Your logo follows the leading snake in every active room, plus the home, game and death-screen sponsor line.
- Being overtaken moves you down the board. Your public page and link remain for the operating life of Own the Snake, subject to content rules. There are no scheduled resets.
- Pay only the additional contribution when you climb again. Equal totals favor the business that reached its current total first.
- Rank is determined when payment is confirmed. Someone else may overtake you during checkout or immediately afterward. No minimum crown duration, audience, clicks, sales or return is guaranteed.
- Being overtaken does not automatically refund a purchase. Refunded amounts no longer count toward rank. A business's first brand is reviewed before it can pay; once an account has passed review, its later brands go live immediately and can be paused or removed afterwards. Unavailable brands are hidden and cannot buy.
